This is the first step for competitors who are interested in participating in the IESL JIY 2025 competition. By completing this registration, you express your intent to compete and secure your spot in the competition. At this stage, only basic details are required. Once registered, you will receive further instructions and updates regarding the competition timeline and next steps.
In this stage, registered competitors must provide comprehensive details about their projects. This includes a detailed project description, objectives, innovation aspects, technical specifications, and any supporting materials required for evaluation. This stage is crucial as it helps judges understand the depth and feasibility of your project. Completing this step ensures your eligibility for further rounds of the competition.
The Junior Inventor of the Year (JIY) competition is a competition organized by the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) to encourage creativity and ingenuity in school children between the ages of 12 and 19.
